Land Planning

Our staff includes a member of the Ameican Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) who is backed up by in-house technical support including landscape architecture, surveying and civil engineering.

Our certified planner has previous governmental experience as a staff member for the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission as well as serving on Planning Commission boards and committees.

We maintain working relationships with numerous land use attorneys and often serve as the ‘face’ before meetings with interested parties, homeowners associations or governmental authorities.

Tanner Consulting often provides the backbone materials for persons unfamiliar with the process, vocabulary and culture of planning. Our planning services include preparation of homeowner’s association documents and review of building plans for conformity to established standards.

Civil Engineering

Our Civil Engineering group is called upon to solve an endless variety of problems. We provide customary civil engineering services to meet all land development challenges.

• Office and Retail Developments • Pad Site Construction Drawing Packages • Industrial Projects •  FEMA Letters of Map Revisions •  Detention Facilities

Our civil team has significant experience in multifamily housing.  We commonly design Stormwater detention facilities that provide water features and open spaces. Tanner Consulting provides zoning support and landscaping services along with customary civil engineering and surveying for individual owners and/or outside consulting firms.

Land Surveying

Tanner Consulting provides a full range of land surveying services.  Our surveying team provides early knowledge in the development process through research of land records and working relationships with lending institutions, title companies and attorneys.  We identify easements, pipelines, topographic data and underground utilities on which land use decisions are based.

During the development process, our surveying team is responsible for the preparation of plats, easements and legal descriptions.  Our surveying team routinely prepares complex ALTA/ACSM land title surveys in support of land acquisition and concludes the project by providing construction staking through the completion of record drawings.

We provide technical support and 3rd party construction staking construction companies and out of state engineering firms and often coordinate aerial photography and digital terrain modeling.

Landscape Architecture

The Landscape Architecture team at Tanner Consulting provides the creativity that our clients require. A project not only needs to be functional, but needs to engage people and foster community. Without the proper attention to detail a project can seem cold and unwelcoming. Our Landscape Architects collaborate closely with our Civil Engineers to create projects that are both functional and beautiful. We provide design services for projects with a variety of scales and scopes and our designers are passionate about them all. Our team can help with quick conceptual concepts to final construction documents. The Landscape Architecture team at Tanner Consulting provides the creativity that our clients require. Drone Technology

At Tanner Consulting we have four licensed drone operators ready to help with every stage of our clients development projects.   Our team can help you collect detailed aerial imagery information to help analyze development potential of a property, track construction progress, and survey as- built conditions.   Our drone and survey teams work closely to gather data which can then be turned into 3D models, topographical maps, and maps that show volumetric measurements of site materials at different phases of planning and construction.  Our drones also have the benefit of being able to reach inaccessible areas that our survey crews can not reach.
